The Webby Awards is an international award honoring excellence on the Internet. Now in 11th year, The Webby Awards is presented by The International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences, a 550-member body of leading Web experts, business figures, luminaries, and creative celebrities. Sometimes referred to as “The Online Oscars,” a Webby is a great honor for a website.
Of the more than 8,000 entries submitted to the 11th Annual Webby Awards, fewer than 15% were distinguished as an Official Honoree. This year, Gadling was one of them. Hooray!
Congratulations to our fellow Honorees and, of course, to the 5 finalists, which include Expedia, Gods of Chinatown, Kayak, TripAdvisor, and WikiTravel. As an honoree, we can’t win the top prize, but you can vote for your second favorite travel-related site until April 27th.
